ZRCI Refractory Sheet Type RS-101 is a ceramic fiber
reinforced structural alumina product with useful properties to 2300캟 (1260캜).
It retains strength and utility to levels far exceeding maximum use temperatures
of reinforced plastics and asbestos-cement replacements. Type RS-101 not only
makes an excellent replacement for rigid asbestos containing products, but also
may be employed at much higher temperatures as well. Type RS-101 is 100%
inorganic, non-flammable and contains no asbestos. Its high
Al2O3 content makes it resistant to many environments
including no outgassing on heating, is not brittle, and may be cut and machined
with standard tooling. Type RS-101 is available in standard and custom size
cylinders.

TOLERANCE
±1/16" inside diameter, wall thickness and
length.
SURFACE FINISH:
Standard cylinders have textured inside and
outside surfaces (which mimics the structure of the reinforcing fabric). Ends
are saw cut. Burnished surfaces are available on a custom basis.
CUSTOM CYLINDERS:
Our forming process allows a wide range of
cylinders to be made from inside diameter of 3/4" with lengths to 72" to inside
diameter of 36" with lengths to 36" and wall thickness of 1/16" to
1".
Tolerance schedules can vary with cylinder size.
We can also supply custom geometries such as round corner square cylinders,
troughs, oval cylinders, channel, angle, etc. Contact ZIRCAR with your specific
